The configured journey first asks the customer to confirm the COD order. It then presents the customer name, address lines, city, state, PIN and phone number, with Confirm Address and Update Address options.
Give an address update a complete path.
When the customer provides an update, the workflow resolves the required address details and saves the change in Shopify. The final confirmation follows a successful save. The customer does not need to reconfirm the same successfully updated address.
Allow natural replies and handle unclear details.
Customers may write an address in different ways. The update process should work with natural replies and seek clarification where details are incomplete or ambiguous. A message received is not, by itself, confirmation that the store record changed.
Keep the journeys distinct.
The existing prepaid confirmation is message-only. COD-to-prepaid is a separate optional journey to discuss for your store; it is not a required part of address confirmation.
